Dr. Joshua Barocas, MD – Medical Advisor
Dr. Joshua Barocas is an infectious disease specialist and seasoned academic physician with deep expertise in clinical care, research, and public health. He currently serves as Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, where he leads work at the intersection of infectious diseases, addiction medicine, and health policy. Prior to this, he taught and practiced at the Boston University Medical Campus and completed his infectious disease fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
Dr. Barocas brings a nuanced understanding of how social and structural factors shape health outcomes, especially for vulnerable populations. As a medical advisor, he contributes both clinical insight and research-driven perspectives to guide health content and strategy. His background in internal medicine and public health informs his clear, evidence-based approach to complex healthcare challenges.
Emily Zadvorny, PharmD, BCPS – Clinical Pharmacotherapy Consultant
Emily Zadvorny is a seasoned pharmacist with over two decades of expertise in pharmacotherapy and clinical practice. Licensed in Colorado since 2001 and board-certified as a Pharmacotherapy Specialist since 2002, she has built a reputation for delivering thoughtful, evidence-based medication guidance across a wide range of therapeutic areas.
Her work reflects a commitment to advancing pharmacy practice and patient care. Emily has been actively involved in professional leadership and educational efforts through the Colorado Pharmacists Society, helping shape policy and supporting pharmacists across the state. Her clinical insight continues to enrich healthcare delivery in both traditional and digital pharmacy settings.
Sarah L. Anderson, PharmD, BCACP, FASHP, FCCP – Clinical Education and Research Consultant
Dr. Sarah Anderson blends nearly 20 years of pharmacy expertise with a passion for education and meaningful patient care. She’s a board-certified specialist in ambulatory care and a fellow of both ASHP and ACCP, recognized for her ability to turn scientific evidence into practical, accessible knowledge for healthcare teams and patients.
She has guided numerous clinical service initiatives, mentored students and residents, and shaped continuing medical education programs. Colleagues value her thoughtful communication and deep commitment to improving how people learn, receive care, and navigate treatment options.
Dr. Amanda Piquet, MD, FAAN – Neurology and Treatment Advisor
Dr. Amanda Piquet is a board-certified neurologist with advanced training in autoimmune neurology and years of clinical and academic experience. She completed her residency at Partners HealthCare in Boston, followed by an internal medicine internship at Massachusetts General Hospital and a fellowship at the University of Utah. Most recently, she served as Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.
In her role as Neurology and Treatment Advisor, Dr. Piquet supports our center by reviewing medical content related to neurological care and offering clinical insight into treatment options for complex conditions. Her expertise helps ensure users receive accurate, accessible information, especially on topics like migraines, multiple sclerosis, and immune-related neurological disorders.
Katie Youll, CPRP – Clinical Talent & Provider Relations Specialist
Katie Youll is a seasoned healthcare recruiter with over 15 years of experience connecting top clinical talent with roles across medicine, pharmacy, and public health. Her background includes provider recruitment leadership at organizations like Optum and Denver Health, where she managed full-cycle hiring for physicians, advanced practice providers, and executive roles. She holds certification as a CPRP (Certified Physician & Provider Recruitment Professional).
Now working with True Client Support, Katie leads clinical talent acquisition and provider relations, helping build a network of trusted medical professionals for digital healthcare services. She brings a sharp understanding of the evolving healthcare landscape and ensures that every recruitment decision reflects the highest standards of care and communication.

At Denver Health, she supported outpatient services and was recognized with the Compassionate Care Award – an honor that reflected her dedication to patient well-being and clear communication in high-pressure environments.
Since joining our customer support center, Carolyn has played a key role in bridging pharmacy knowledge with direct patient support. She provides accurate, thoughtful responses to clinical questions, offers guidance on medication use, and ensures every customer feels supported and heard. Her calm, solution-focused approach and real-world clinical experience make her an essential part of our team – especially in helping patients navigate treatment questions with clarity and confidence.
